We have a small team helping us including Martin Lamb and Chris Compton who are both Veterans.
We are always looking for extra volunteers throughout the year.

How do we fundraise?
The Poppy Appeal 2020 will be from Saturday 24th October to Sunday 8th November 2020. There will be a Remembrance Parade and Service at the Totton Memorial on Sunday 8th November. If you require a wreath for the service or at any time during the year please contact Susan on 023 8087 3143.
During the Poppy Appeal we collect daily in ASDA Totton as well as other locations in Ashurst, Totton and Eling. We are also planning to accept donations by debit or credit card in ASDA this year.
Other fundraising events during the year include
- Table top and car boot sales
- Other local events
Where does the Poppy Appeal money go?
The Royal British Legion supports serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.
From sports-based rehabilitation courses and careers advice to dedicated care homes for older veterans, The Royal British Legion is here to ensure every member of the Armed Forces community receives the support they need.
Those eligible for support services can be summarised as:
- People who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces - ‘Beneficiaries’
- Their dependants
- Their carers
